This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application SkorMas - Bola Sepak Malaysia (“SkorMas”, “the app”), developed and published on Google Play and the Apple App Store by Nur Ameerul Ameen bin Nor Hassan (“we”, “us”), collects, uses and shares information. By using the app you agree to this policy. SkorMas is a free football app that shows live scores, fixtures, standings and goal alerts.
1. No account required
SkorMas does not require you to sign up or log in, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or precise location.
All accounts registered with versions of SkorMas before 5.0.0 will be deleted, including their credentials, account information and preferences, as the app no longer requires any authentication.
2. Information we collect
- Device and app identifiers – a Firebase installation ID and a push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send the score and goal alerts you choose; the advertising ID, used by Google AdMob as described below (on iPhone and iPad only with your permission, see section 4).
- Your in-app preferences – favourite teams, leagues and notification settings. These are stored on your device and used to subscribe your device to the alerts you picked.
- App usage and diagnostics – screens viewed, app interactions, crash logs and performance data (Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics), used to fix bugs and improve the app.
- Purchase information – if you buy a membership or “remove ads”, Google Play or the Apple App Store processes the payment. We receive only the purchase status and an anonymous app user ID (via RevenueCat) to unlock your purchase. We never see your card or payment details.
- App integrity – Firebase App Check verifies requests come from a genuine copy of the app.
- Match votes and abuse prevention – when you vote on a match, our servers store your choice under a one-way code made from a random ID the app creates on your device (not the ID itself) until about 60 days after the match. To stop abuse, the servers count requests per app copy and per network address under one-way codes for about two days and, like any online service, log the IP address of each request for a limited time.
3. How we use information
- To provide the app’s features: live scores, fixtures, standings and the notifications you enable.
- To show ads and measure ad performance (see section 4).
- To unlock and restore in-app purchases.
- To understand usage, fix crashes, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve the app.
4. Advertising
The free version of SkorMas shows ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may use the advertising ID and device information to show personalised or non-personalised ads. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK) we ask for your consent through Google’s consent form, and you can change your choice any time from Settings → Privacy options in the app. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Buying “remove ads” or a membership turns ads off.
App Tracking Transparency (iPhone and iPad). Before AdMob can use your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA), the app shows Apple’s tracking permission prompt. If you choose “Ask App Not to Track”, the identifier is not shared and the ads you see are not personalised with it. You can change this choice any time in the iOS Settings app under Privacy & Security → Tracking.
5. Third-party services
The app uses these services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Google Play Services & Google Play Billing (Android) – policies.google.com/privacy

- Google Firebase (Cloud Messaging, Analytics, Crashlytics, App Check, Realtime Database, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions) – firebase.google.com/support/privacy

- RevenueCat (in-app purchase management) – revenuecat.com/privacy
Football data (scores, fixtures, standings, logos) comes from third-party sports data providers; no personal information is sent to them. News in the app is SkorMas’s own posts and headlines from publishers’ public RSS feeds; for a headline we store only the headline, the publisher’s name, the publish time and the link (no article text, summaries or images), and stored headlines are deleted automatically about 7 days after publication. Tapping a headline opens the publisher’s own page in your device’s browser, and the publisher’s site handles that visit under its own privacy policy. Other links you open from the app also lead to external websites that have their own policies.
6. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers above, to operate the app, or when required by law.
7. Data retention and deletion
Preferences stored on your device are removed when you uninstall the app. Analytics and crash data are kept by Firebase for the periods Google sets and are not linked to your identity. To ask us to delete any data associated with your device, email admin@skormas.com.
Versions 5.x of SkorMas kept a record for your device on our servers: a device ID, your push-notification token, your language, the teams and leagues you follow, your notification settings and your purchase status. Version 6 no longer creates or updates this record; when you update, it reads the record once to carry the teams and leagues you follow, and whether notifications are on, over to your device. You can ask us to delete that record at any time at the address above.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored with our providers’ security controls. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect it.
9. Children
SkorMas is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new effective date.
