Introduction

Our privacy policy will help you understand what information we collect at SkorMas app, how SkorMas uses it, and what choices you have. MeenWise is a nickname for the individual who developed this personalized app. MeenWise built the SkorMas app as a free app.

This SERVICE is provided by MeenWise at no cost and is intended for use as is. This privacy notice is issued on behalf of the MeenWise so when we mention "SkorMas", "we", "us", or "our" in this privacy policy, we refer to the relevant individual personal developer, MeenWise. If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation with this policy. The Personal Information that we collect are used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.


Data Collection and Safety

• Personal information.

All registered users from the previous version of SkorMas (<5.0.0) will be deleted including their credentials, account information and preferences, as the new version does not require any authentication.


• Device information.

We collects user's Device ID (UDID) to be able to send push notifications to individual devices. The Device ID is stored securely in our servers and we do not share it with any third party without the user's explicit consent. For iOS users on devices running iOS 14 or later, our app collects data related to app tracking transparency. This data is essential for ad networks to work effectively on iOS devices and allows us to show personalized ads to our users. Prior to collecting this data, the app will display a tracking authorization dialog and request permission from the user to collect data.


• News Content.

News articles, including images, titles, text, and URLs are submitted by selected authors.


• News User Reports.

Information provided by users who report specific news articles for review.


Data Purpose

• Push Notifications.

We may collect your Device ID for user identification and push notifications purposes.


• Personalized Ads.

We may collect data for app tracking transparency for iOS 14+ users, to work with third-party ad networks to provide more relevant and personalized ads. This data may include information about your interaction with the app, such as the features you use and the content you view, as well as device information such as your IP address, device type, and operating system version.

We use this data to improve your experience with our app and provide you with personalized advertising. We may also use this data to monitor and analyze app usage, troubleshoot issues, and make improvements to the app. We do not sell or share this data with any third parties, except for our third-party ad networks who help us provide personalized ads. If you do not wish to participate in app tracking transparency, you can opt-out by adjusting your device settings.


• Data analytics.

Used to collect data about how you use the app or how it performs. For example, to see how many users are using a particular feature, to diagnose and fix bugs or crashes, or to make future performance improvements.


• Developer communications.

Used to send notifications about the app. We send push notifications to inform users about the service. Users can choose to disable notifications.


• Advertising or marketing.

Used to display or target ads or marketing communications, or measuring ad performance. We only display ads within our app that NOT contain deceptive or disruptive ads. We consider ads served in our app as part of our app. The ads shown in our app is compliant with all of Developer Policy.


• Fraud prevention, security, and compliance.

Used to monitor failed login or invalid OTP attempts to identify possible fraudulent activity.


• News Content

Shared within the app for user consumption. The news content, including images, titles, and text, is displayed within the app for user access.


• News User Reports

Information provided by users in reports is used to assess the reported news article's compliance with guidelines. Used internally to review reported content; no personal information from reports is shared externally without user consent or as required by law.


Terms of Use

Our Terms of Use outlines how we gather and utilise information on the service. You agree to the information practises outlined in that terms, as amended from time to time.


Service Providers/Third-Parties

• Web View

Providing a web view option that directs users to the author's official website's news article. Please note that once the user is directed outside the app, our privacy policy no longer applies. Users are encouraged to review the third-party site's privacy policy.

These third parties do NOT have access to your Personal Information except to use your email to send information such as a One-Time Password (OTP). User's email is only used once during registration.

In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
